A proper cabin that happens to be round.

This isn't a canvas tent on a platform. Opal Ridge yurts are timber-framed round cabins with conical roofs, T&G pine ceilings, LVP flooring, a full kitchen, and a dedicated bedroom separate from the living space.

Built on-grid with a full 100-amp sub-panel, electric mini split for year-round comfort, and a hardwired hot tub on the deck. The guest experience is push-button simple. The construction is built to last.

  • Private electric hot tub, hardwired on deck
  • Fully fenced pet yard with dedicated gate
  • Dedicated bedroom — queen bed, separate from living area
  • Full kitchen — retro turquoise appliance package
  • Mini split heat pump — year-round heating and cooling
  • WiFi, smart lock self check-in, fire ring
Opal Ridge Resort luxury yurt interior and deck

Everything included. Nothing to figure out.

The Hot Tub

Private. Electric. Push-button.

Beachcomber or Coast Spas unit hardwired to its own 240V circuit. Positioned on the deck for the view. Cover included. No tokens, no shared pools, no schedules.

For Your Dog

Fenced yard. Every unit.

Cedar picket fencing around the full pet yard. Dedicated gate. Your dog has a yard to themselves. No leash required inside the fence. This is the only glamping property in the corridor built this way.

The Bedroom

Out of the circle entirely.

The bedroom is in a dedicated bumpout addition — separated from the living space. Queen bed, floating nightstands, vaulted ceiling, rear window. Couples get actual privacy.

The Kitchen

Full size. Retro turquoise.

Not a camping kitchen. A real range, full size fridge, base and upper cabinets, live edge acacia countertop. The turquoise retro appliance package is the signature interior feature.

The Deck

270 degrees of cedar.

Eight feet wide, wrapping nearly the full circumference. Log railing. The hot tub positioned at the view end. Two Adirondack chairs. Enough space to actually live on.

The Location

Nakusp, BC.

20 minutes from Nakusp Hot Springs. Arrow Lake visible from the highway. Old-growth trails, a winery, artisan chocolate, and a town that looks like it belongs in a film. Your guests will come back.
